Approximately 1% to 2% of the human population has red hair, while freckles are nearly as hard to come by. Both are frequently unappreciated, to the point that those who have them are often proud to have hidden them successfully, that's why this group was created. We think it's important to show both of these off; to spread awareness and build appreciation for what we think are two of the most beautiful and distinctive features a person can have! We hope to build a member base of redheads, freckly people, and appreciators of both. Optimally, our members will submit their own redhead/freckles deviations to our gallery, while they add their favourites by non-members to our collections. Have fun, everybody, and take care.   PLEASE READ THIS:  We openly hold a preference for GINGER (Orange - brown) colouration rather than literally "red" hair or any other unnatural shades, submissions must feature either freckles OR red hair (natural ginger looking if not natural) prominentlyNOT necessarily both but one or the other is required. Please submit/suggest in the right category as much as possible. We don't want to decline a deviation that would normally be accepted because we lack the time to redirect them all - but we will, so...PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOLDER YOU'RE SUBMITTING TO Default submission folder is main gallery.(For redheads without freckles or distant shots - pictures only) Every deviation that is not a photo (unless photo manipulation) goes to Trad & Digit. Photos focusing mainly on freckles, specifically belonging to non-redheads, go to the Freckles folder, especially closeups.Be advised that regardless of whether a model/subject has freckles or red hair, those features must be clearly identifiable in order to be accepted. *(This includes black and white photos, where red hair cannot, by definition be identified, as well as distant or low-res shots where the features can't be made out).You don't have to watch the group to be member.
